ASPIRE 1650
Green Mills Group and Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Inc. (“BPHI”) are co-developing Aspire 1650, a future supportive housing community with est. 90 affordable residences for low-income households in Pompano Beach, FL. The community will include a clubroom, game room, interactive library, gym, and on-site services, management, and maintenance. Construction will meet or exceed the NGBS ‘green’ certification requirements.
Aspire 1650 will be an extension of the existing Broward County North Homeless Assistance Center (NHAC). The NHAC, operated by BPHI, is a comprehensive homeless services campus that uses an award-winning supportive services model. The campus, and BPHI’s best-in-class operation, will provide residents with comprehensive services.
Green Mills serves as the lead developer and managing partner. BPHI is a land lessor, co-developer, and co-GP. Our team is currently in the initial application stages and is hoping to secure a competitive 9% tax credit allocation from Florida Housing Finance Corporation in the near future.
